Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone.

Since anouncing that I will not be going on the Talisker Bounty Boat voyage, loads of people have said it is probablly for the best and now that I have come to terms with the idea, I am already planning another adventure.

This week I visited a couple more schools near Leeds which were very different. One with high security and one very relaxed which seemed to reflect the mood of the kids. The feed back from my visit was really encouraging.

Radio stations and newspapers still want to talk to me about the Bounty Boat, so I am using the opportunity to talk about my book. I also appeared on the This Morning Show and as my mum was with me, she got interviewed at the same time.

  1. I finished the book today! WOW! What a great read! I was late to Easter dinner so I could finish it.

It's tough to give up adventures, I've had to do it, too...also due to circumstances outside my control. You'll find another trek. So continue to support Talisker Bounty Boat, and keep on adventuring!

I just finished your book today. As you would say over there "Brilliant Mate". I really enjoyed reading it and found it hard to put down at night and get to bed. Zac's DVD should arrive this week and I am looking forward to viewing it too.

  6. Hey Mike,
I stayed up until 3 a.m. to finish your book. You are an amazing writer and I will hope there is a book at the end of each of your adventures. I just couldn't put the book down and was exhausted and craving chocolate at the end.
Hope you are continuing to recover and enjoying every day. Keep us up to speed on what is happening with you.

I hope your book comes to US bookstores soon. It is so, so good.

    G'day Mike,
everything has been said before in many ways,
    you already know.
So actually we have not much to say now.
But our thoughts here were suddenly with you,
and then we will find you
    on your website and blog,
and now even more often through your beautiful and exciting book,
    saying to you,
that we are so glad and proud we have you ever found.....
you, Fiona, and your wonderful cool parents.
That's it we only want to say now.
And again thx for all your personal support,
and the ever rereadings of your book has made us stronger and stronger,
because you showed us how it really should go in life.
    Bye bye, cu,
Timothy and Nadalie with our parents and grandparents
